About me :
I’m a Director of Information and Communications Technology in a K-12 Independant School in Victoria, Australia. I have over 10 years experience as a teacher, curriculum leader, and Director and have worked as a web-developer, programmar and IT trainer in the Corporate Sector.
About ICT in Education
We live in an age where technological advances and changes to technology standards are occurring almost daily. Our students are more connected, demanding and reliant on the diverse technology they use. In their daily lives they search, stream, chat, SMS, share, upload, tweet and blog and they need and expect the technologies to be available and reliable in their education. It is this understanding which underpins my personal approach to information systems and communications technology in education.
